TS 01

The service, stated exactly

You give us a U.S. mailing address; we print and mail a card carrying a single-use QR code; when the recipient completes the loop, we sign a webhook. A completed verification attests, with binding none, that a party with physical access to mail at that address completed the loop; with binding email_otp, that the party controlling the bound email also completed a credential delivered to that address.

It attests nothing else. Not legal identity, not one-human uniqueness, not creditworthiness, not residency in any legal sense. You remain responsible for your own trust decisions; we supply one physical fact and several signals, and we do not warrant that determined fraud is impossible — only that the cheap, instant path is closed.

TS 02

Accounts and keys

Accounts are opened with a verified email address. Your API keys are yours to guard: the live key debits your balance and prints real mail, so treat it like the checkbook it is. Actions taken with your keys are your actions. Tell us promptly if a key leaks; we will rotate it.

TS 03

Postage, prepaid

Payment is a prepaid dollar balance — the postage model. The ledger we keep is the balance of record; it moves only on Stripe’s confirmation of payment, and every mailpiece debits it at creation. Minimum top-up is $25. Credits never expire.

Postage is non-refundable once a piece is created, with two stated exceptions: a print rejection before mailing is credited in full, and an undeliverable Sealed piece is credited at 50%. Undeliverable Bulk and Standard pieces are not credited — the undeliverable signal itself is what you paid for. Resending debits full price. An expired, unverified card is not refunded; delivery happened, the human declined.

If we ever terminate your account without cause, we refund your unused balance. If you close your account, ask and we will refund the unused balance then too — Forever stamps outlive the post office counter, but you should not have to sue us for $14.

TS 04

Acceptable use

The mail is a federal instrument and other people’s mailboxes are not your billboard. You agree to all of the following:

Consent. You only submit addresses of your own users, in a flow they initiated, where mailing them is lawful and expected. No harassment. We enforce a global guardrail — at most 3 mailpieces to the same address per 7 days, across all customers — and using the service to bomb, intimidate, or locate a person is grounds for immediate termination. No PII smuggling. Do not place personal data in external_id or metadata; those fields outlive the address purge by design. No unlawful use. Including evasion of sanctions, stalking, or interference with the mail itself.

TS 05

Schedules, not guarantees

Stated delivery windows — 5–7 business days Standard, 2–3 weeks Bulk — are schedules estimated from USPS service standards. The Postal Service, weather, and the republic’s general condition control actual transit. We do not pay damages for late mail, and we do not apologize for the wait; the wait is the product.

TS 06

Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is, without a service-level agreement in this release. We may change rates with 30 days’ notice; because credits are dollars, a rate change never devalues a balance you already hold. We may change these terms with notice by email; continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

TS 07

Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Fraud losses on your platform are trust decisions you made with signals we supplied; they are yours.
